Drop your business name. We send a 1-2 page audit of your Google Business Profile and website with specific gaps, real numbers, and clear pricing, within 48 hours.

What's in the audit

  • Your overall local search score (0-100)
  • Your top 3 local competitors and what they're doing differently
  • Where you rank for 3 keywords in your service area (incognito browser test)
  • Mobile site performance (Lighthouse score, LCP, CLS)
  • Top 5 specific gaps holding you back, with timelines to fix
  • Real pricing if you want us to fix any of it

What's NOT in the audit

  • A sales pitch disguised as a report
  • Generic "schedule a call to learn more" upsell wall
  • Auto-renew traps or hidden contracts
  • Marketing follow-up emails (you read it, you decide)

What an audit looks like

It starts with your local visibility map: where you actually rank on Google Maps across your city, for the searches that bring in jobs. Switch the keyword tabs and click any pin. Below the map come the score, competitors, and the specific gaps. Here is a redacted sample for a San Diego HVAC contractor.

EXCERPT

Acme HVAC, Local Search Audit

Industry: HVAC contractor · Location: San Diego, CA · Audit date: 2026-04-28

Overall score: 62 / 100

Top 3 competitors in San Diego HVAC average 84/100. You're a 5★-rated business with strong reviews, the gap is volume + visibility, not service quality.

Top 5 gaps holding you back

  1. Primary GBP category is "General Contractor" instead of "HVAC Contractor", single biggest fix. 2 minutes, free, ~30-50% map-pack lift expected within 4-6 weeks.
  2. Mobile site performance: 57/100, LCP 8.7s, most mobile visitors bounce before content loads. 1-2 days to optimize, or 2-3 weeks for a clean rebuild.
  3. Review volume: 226 vs competitors' 1,500-6,000+, systematic review-request process needed. 6-12 weeks to begin closing.
  4. No UTM tracking on GBP website link, currently can't measure how many calls/visits come from Google. 5 minutes to add.
  5. GBP post cadence likely stale, competitors post weekly. Ongoing, Curbrank's SEO retainer handles this.

Audit FAQ

Common questions about the audit

Is it actually free?

Yes. No credit card, no commitment, no follow-up calls unless you ask for one. The audit itself takes me about 25 minutes to put together and gives you something useful regardless of whether you ever pay me a dime.

Why are you doing this for free?

The audit IS our pitch. Every contractor we've talked to says the same thing: "I know my Google profile is bad but I don't know what's actually broken." We answer that question. If the answer is interesting enough, you'll hire us. If not, you'll fix it yourself or hire someone else, both fine.

How long does it take to get?

Within 48 hours of submission. Most go out same-day if requested before 6pm.

Will you spam me after?

No. You'll get the audit. If you don't reply, we don't follow up. We don't have a CRM-driven nurture sequence and we're not going to call you. If we don't hear from you in a week, we assume you're handling it yourself.

What if I'm not in San Diego or Riverside?

We'll still send the audit, but we'll be honest in the cover note: outside our service area, you should hire someone local. We'll point you at a few options if we know them.

Can I share the audit with my competitor / partner / cousin?

Sure. It's yours. Show it to whoever helps you make the decision.
